From Rio to Miami
Samba, Choro, Bossa Nova, Baião, Maracatu and more, the audience reveled in our sold-out show that delivered the passion and soul of Brazilian music featuring pianists Thito Camargo and Phil DeGreg, accompanied by Michael Ramos on bass, Wesley Cosvosk on drums, and Brian Potts on percussion. The concert featured music from some of Brazil's most beloved composers, like Antonio Carlos Jobim, Pixinguinha, Sivuca, Hermeto Pascoal, Jacob do Bandolin, and Joao Bosco.

West African Beats
One Song
A musical journey through the African diaspora curated by violinist/vocalist Nicole Yarling and presented at the Miami Beach Bandshell on Feb. 16, 2025. The musical voyage of a lifetime explored the influence of West Africa on cultures throughout the world through song and dance featuring Yarling, and pianists Martin Bejerano and Jim Gasior alongside many of South Florida's finest musicians and performers. From Soca and Rara to blues, spirituals, jazz and the music of New Orleans, the concert proved how the joy of music and dance creates humanity's bond.

Music of my past … Sounds of the future
A classical/Afropop/spoken word mashup featuring Miami’s aspiring top teen poets, directed by the award-winning Teo Castellanos and performing alongside renowned classical piano duo musicians Jeroen van Veen and Mike Del Ferro, accompanied by DJ synth player Anthony “Smurfio” Laurencio. Co-presented with the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Back to Beethoven
A presentation of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in a two-piano arrangement by Franz Liszt performed by internationally celebrated Ukrainian classical stars Olha Chipak and Oleksiy Kushnir with percussion accompaniment at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Nov. 24, 2024. The first half of the program presented classics by Liszt, Maurice Ravel and Fazil Say.
